Goal

The  main  goal  of  the AHEAD Transnational Visitor Programme (ATVP) is  to  foster  the  collaboration  among  European scientists and engineers involved in High Energy Astrophysics.  This  goal  will  be  achieved  through  the  sponsorship  of  short research  visits  (from 1 week up to 4 weeks) within european  research  institutions to  carry  on  a  specific research  project  and  strengthen or establish  future  collaborations.  Special  emphasis  will  be given to research stays which involve: a) the future ESA’s X-­‐ray telescope ATHENA science and/or  technology, b) synergies with other energy ranges and multimessenger projects.

To allow for maximum flexibility, there will be seven calls -twice a year- with the following calendar:
